Math Jam was the first game made by Naughty Dog

Only picture I could find. I'll be honest. Not sure if this is Math Jam

and was originally released in 1985 for the Apple II under the name Jam Software. The basic premise was to have a fun character teach kids basic math.

At the time of its release, Naughty Dog was just two people. Neither of the creators remember where the idea came from. Although, Andy Gavin claims that it may have been from a friends parent who tought kids with dissablities. Their initial goal was to get it into schools however in order to do that they had to get through school bureaucracy. They were asked to get three or four psychologist to sign off on it as well as sixteen teachers. At that point Gavin and Jason Rubin said "To hell with that" and moved on.

Critical ReceptionEdit

Unfortunately, there was no reviews or anything of that sort that I could find for Math Jam.
