Currently owned by Sony, Naughty Dog is known for such games  as The Last of Us, Uncharted, Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter.

Naughty Dog (Formally known as Jam Software) was founded in 1985 by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin when they were only 14 years old. Their first game was Math Jam that was released in 1985 for the Apple II. And in 1989 they officially changed their name to Naughty Dog and released Keef the Thief. It wasn't until 1991 that they made the jump to consoles with Rings of Power for the SEGA Genesis. Their next game, Way of the Warrior, was made for the 3DO and was presented to Mak Cerny who at that time was working with Universal Interactive Studios. UIS liked the game so they signed Naughty Dog for three more games. The first of these three games was Crash Bandicoot for the Playstation. Crash Team Racing was Naughty Dog's last published game before being bought by Sony and was also their last PlayStation and Crash game. Following Crash, Naughty Dog went on to make the Jak and Daxter series concluding with Daxter for the PSP (Daxter was a collaberation with Ready at Dawn). Naughty Dog's first game for the PS3 was Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and that was also their first entry into "photo-realistic" games. So far, there have been 5 entrances into the Uncharted series (two of whihc were developed externally with Naughty Dog's consent and input) and a sixth has been announced. The Last of Us, their first "M" game since Way of the Warrior (Way of the Warrior was technically "17+" but sue me they're similar), was released in 2013 to great critical reception and is their most recent release to date.
